About Charlotte & Her Work
I have spent my life exploring the hidden nature of wellbeing. My own journey began in my late teens, when I became unwell and struggled for years to recover. During that time, I often felt lost and let down by the medical world. Everything changed when I finally met someone who believed in my strength instead of pitying my illness. It still took daily courage, small steps, and countless compromises, but slowly, I grew stronger. I learned to take responsibility for my life, to step out of the comfortable role of the victim, and to lead my own recovery.
Feeling so alone throughout that long process inspired me to become a doctor, to become someone who could offer the support and understanding I had so deeply longed for. I wanted to be the person who shines a light on the path for others, especially in those moments of crisis, when the darkness rises, and we lose our orientation along the way.
Fifteen years later, I have studied medicine in Germany (Medizinische Hochschule Hannover, 2019), trained in anthroposophical medicine, a holistic approach to understanding human nature and physiology, and spent the past two decades experimenting with how to stay centred and nurture my own wellbeing. It has not always been an easy journey. I am also the mother of twins and endlessly proud of who they are becoming.
Over time, I realised that traditional medical training alone was not enough for the kind of work I felt called to do. In 2020, I started a coaching practice in Germany to support other women through crisis, illness, and personal transformation. Now I am ready to share my profound insights into self-management and recovery with you here in Bude, Cornwall.
I invite you to walk your own path of becoming your most beautiful self with kindness, warmth, and a bright light, so you never have to feel lost along the way.

Spirituality
In each of us lives a quiet truth: we are spiritual beings walking a human path. When life becomes difficult, this truth often reveals itself more clearly. In moments of crisis, we remember that we are not isolated, but part of a much larger web of life. From this understanding, deep strength and resilience naturally arise.
Spirituality, as I speak of it, is not about religion or doctrine. It is a simple recognition of our shared humanity, our interdependence, and our responsibility for our own well-being and the well-being of others. It invites us to look within, to cultivate compassion, and to choose actions that arise from our own hearts.
In my coaching, this perspective becomes a guiding light. Mending begins when we honour the body, mind, and spirit as one. When we learn to listen to our inner signals with kindness, we grow in wisdom. When we act from the heart, we create a life that is both healthier and more meaningful. And when we evolve ourselves, we naturally contribute to the healing of our families, our communities, and the world.
PLEASE NOTE: Even though I am a trained medical doctor in Germany, I do NOT hold a GMC registration in the UK. For any medical advice please consult your trusted medical professional.

The most common questions
DO YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ?
What is health coaching?
Health coaching is a collaborative process that supports you in understanding your body, strengthening self-efficacy, and navigating your health journey with clarity and confidence. My approach combines medical knowledge, holistic principles, and embodiment practices to help you create sustainable wellbeing from the inside out.
Who do you work with?
I work mainly with women. They want to reconnect with their bodies, build resilience, and understand their symptoms holistically, so they can proactively shape their health journey. Many of my clients are navigating chronic stress, recurring symptoms, emotional overwhelm, or feel disconnected from their body’s signals. If you’re wondering whether we are the right fit or if I am the right person to work with in your situation, simply reach out.
What topics do you specialise in?
I specialise in:
-
Illness self-efficacy & body trust
-
Resilience
-
Salutogenesis (health creation)
-
Supporting self-healing processes
-
Holistic mind–body–soul understanding
-

Are you practising as a medical doctor?
No. I am a medically trained doctor in Germany (Hannover Medical School, 2019), but I am not practising as a medical doctor in the UK, and I am not registered with the GMC. I do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. My work as a health coach focuses on education, coaching, empowerment, and holistic support.
How is this different from therapy?
Coaching is not therapy. Coaching supports your present and future growth by building awareness, resilience, self-trust, and aligned lifestyle choices. It does not treat mental health conditions, process trauma, or offer crisis intervention. It’s focused on empowered action, not clinical treatment.
What can I expect in a 1:1 session?
Each session is a journey. And each journey has a destination. Sometimes we need to take detours, or the path we are walking doesn’t pan out as we expected; it can get muddy or very steep. On this journey, I am your guide. I know when we need to change course, I hold the light up for you when the woods get thick and dark, and I know when there is some unexpected beauty to find along the way. It is growth, sometimes challenging and always rewarding. But to make it more concrete for you:
Each session will be personalised, tailored to what you need right now. We will have a clear structure for every session.
Typically:
-
We arrive together and check in.
-
You tell me what your wishes are for the time we work together.
- To begin each session, we will agree on a topic or goal for our session together.
- At the end of each session, we will check in and make a plan for the future
- It will be very important that everything is customised to your individual situation and stays in bite-sized chunks.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes, I work with clients worldwide through secure online video sessions. I also offer in-person sessions in Bude, Cornwall (UK).
How long does the coaching process take?
This depends on your goals and wishes. Many clients work with me for 3–6 months to create lasting change, while others book single sessions or shorter consultations for clarity on specific topics.
What languages do you work in?
I offer coaching in English and German.
Can health coaching replace medical treatment?
No. Coaching complements medical care but does not replace diagnosis or treatment. I regularly encourage clients to work alongside their healthcare providers when needed.
